Voluntary integrated defense control is a system implemented through specific technical rules for each crop and binding plant health claims (production specifications)including agronomic practices and restrictions on the choice of plant protection products and the number of treatments.

This includes the recording of crop operations, the purchase and use of plant protection products, purchase invoices for pesticides, fertilisers, soil analysis results, reports on the calibration of sprayers, etc.

Subsequently, there is the control by Control Bodies (odc) authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (MIPAAF).

The ministerial label “Sustainable quality” assures consumers that products are grown according to agronomic practices that respect the environment and the human health.
